Imara Reiki means “more Reiki”. It was transmitted originally by Barton Wendel.  It is an Attunement for Reiki Masters as it requires from you to be at the Reiki Master Level to benefit from this empowerment. Indeed this initiation strengthens and enhances your connection to the Universal energy substantially.

The discoverer of this Attunement considers Imara Reiki to be at a level 5 on a scale 0 to 5 in terms of the amplitude of this attunement whereas Classical Reiki could be considered at a level 3 according to this measurement, and Karuna Reiki would be at a level 4.

Either way, we can confirm for the strength of this attunement.
